Prince Harry has certainly been a very busy boy during his state visit to New York, hasn’t he?

On Friday the Prince began his royal engagements, (this trip is actually his first official visit overseas) by heading to Ground Zero, where he laid a wreath and kept a minute’s silence before meeting families who had lost loved ones on 9/11.

Then yesterday Harry joined youngsters at Harlem Children’s Zone, which works with 8,000 disadvantaged children, in an energetic obstacle course, after which he took part in a charity polo match, which attracted a very star-studded crowd indeed.

Celebrities who turned up to watch the Prince included, Madonna, Marc Jacobs, Chloe Sevigny, and Kate Hudson.

But it was all for a good cause of course; at the end of the day, Harry and the rest of the polo team had helped to raise £100,000 for the American Friends of Sentebale, the US arm of his charity - which cares for Aids orphans in Lesotho. That’s pretty impressive work for his first official Royal overseas visit we think you’ll agree…
