Meanwhile, we’ve just heard reports that Leona has turned down an invite from US President Barack Obama! Why on earth would she do that? Well her official website reports:
“Leona was thrilled to be invited to dinner by Obama. She really wanted to meet him and his wife Michelle, who is a big fan and has her Spirit album. But it was really unfortunate that it clashed with her tight schedule to get her second album done.”
“Leona has had studio sessions in Los Angeles booked for months and has been working day and night getting things perfect. So there was no way she could make the trip to the White House.”
That’s just crazy, if the President invites you round for dinner you don’t say you’re too busy, you drop everything and go!

She'll have had commitments to other artists, producers and songwriters in the studio. They all work to tight schedules and it's Rihanna for 4-5 days then Leona, then onto the Sugababes then back to Christina Aguilera. You just can't stop everything to go off on a jolly, it'd be utterly unprofessional.
I hope her new album tanks and she goes away.
