Pete Doherty's sentencing for drugs charges has been adjourned… Fuck you!! How many times have we had to write those words? How many times have you heard that sentence? What does a man have to do to get sent to prison nowadays, because stealing cars, getting in fights and permanently carrying class A drugs around doesn’t seem to cut it anymore!

The Babyshambles singer was due to appear before magistrates today, but the hearing has now been adjourned until the end of October! Speaking out his manager Andy Boyd said he was pretty sure Pete would be spared jail because he had been clean of drugs for six weeks. He told NME:

‘He's the best I've seen him in five years.’

If you believe that, you’ll believe anything! Does anyone even care anymore?

i care. his new album's so good it's unbelievable and if he's clean even better. i read the adjournment was due to administrative issues anyway so he's not 'getting away with it' so what is your problem. plus there's been no charges for stealing cars or getting into fights...
