The troubled singer appeared at Gloucester Crown court today where he pleaded not guilty to the charge, however he did admit to possession of drugs and driving without a licence and insurance.
Just to remind you of the initial incident: according to reports the Babyshambles frontman was pulled over by cops in June following a gig after he was spotted driving erratically.
He allegedly refused to stop, then drove through a red light, before mounting a kerb. A subsequent breath test revealed he was over the alcohol limit and during a search of his vehicle, police found a small amount of heroin and a crack pipe.
Hmmm… anyway the judge in the case described the incident as the "bottom end of the (dangerous) scale", but nevertheless Pete will stand trial on December 21st.
So potentially Pete could be spending crimbo behind bars! Shame…
