It’s been confirmed that the legend that is Whitney Houston will perform on the X Factor.

The I Will Always Love You songstress will be singing live on the ITV talent show on Sunday October 18.

Apparently it’ll be Whitney's first UK TV performance in 12 years. That piece of news is almost as exciting as the news that Amy Winehouse will be singing on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

We’ll be glued to our TV sets when that momentous event takes place, that is for sure!
