If you missed last nights X Factor because you haven’t quite got your head around the fact that it’s on, on a Sunday night as well as Saturday, then we hate to break it to you but you missed a hell of a lot.

Firstly Dannii Minogue apologised for making an inappropriate comment to Danyl Johnson the night before about his sexuality, then Kandy Rain were given their marching orders and somewhere in the middle of all of that commotion Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke both performed their brand new singles.

Alex was up first and although some people have stuck the boot into last year’s X Factor winner for miming along to her new track, Bad Boys we actually think she did amazingly well. The routine was insanely complicated and there’s no way in the world she could have sung live and pulled off all those moves.

Unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for Robbie, who we spotted leaving the studios late last night. When the former Take That singer’s new single, Bodies was played on Radio One a few weeks ago he insisted it was a grower but we’ve heard it quite a few times now and we’re sorry to say it still hasn’t grown. But to hell with that, what we really want to know is was his performance any good? Well, in a word, no!

He looked awkward and uncomfortable as he jumped around the stage and when he was finished he repeatedly shouted, It’s great, I love it!”
whenever Dermot asked him a question.

P.S. Did anyone else find his bug eyes a little bit scary?
