Meanwhile, we’ve been hearing some interesting reports that Katy is so smitten with her new love that she now wants him to meet her parents.
Apparently, she’s worried they wont approve of Russell because of his sordid past, but she’s hoping if they meet him they’ll change their mind.
A well-placed source told The Sun:
“They are genuinely happy for their daughter, but want to give Russell the once-over to check that he is suitable.”
“Katy is sure that, after they get used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can.”
By the way, did we mention that Katy’s parents are both pastors and they run a ministry? Oh, what we wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall during that first meeting!
