Back in 2007 Katie Price was honoured with the Celebrity Mum of the Year award, but a lot has changed since then and considering all negative press she’s received in recent weeks we were a little bit surprised to hear she’s made this year’s shortlist of nominations.

Mum of three, Katie is up against all the usual suspects including Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliewell, Suzanne Shaw, Myleene Klass, Tess Daily, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Charlotte Church.

How do you think they work out which celebrities to nominate? We haven’t got a clue. None of the above ladies have done anything, which makes them worthy of being named celebrity mum of the year other than simply being famous and having a kid - Bravo!

No 1, do not say that about a child u fkn mut, and she is the presttiest wee girl I've ever saw and is no beautifully natured, her mum on the other hand deserves crufts of the yr, and how does subjecting ur 3 gorgeous children to a tri sexual, drug taking, rape acting, cage fighting, one nippled cauliflowerd ear'd freak of nature make for mum of the yr, especially when she never sees them cos her 5 nannys look after the kids cos she's to busy dressing roxy, I really don't get it

I dread to think what message this will send out to other 'Jordonites' if she wins. We'll be seeing unattended buggies with babies eating crisps parked outside pub doors and the mums will be convinced that is good parenting.

OMFG how can someone who brings a Cross Dressing Druggie into the house where her kids live be short listed for Celeb Mom Of The Year? Seriously is this a joke?? Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors when the cameras are not there! If she was such a terrible mother then she wouldn't have her children for more days of the week than Peter does and Peter wouldn't let her see her children! Katie loves her children and you are all judging her because you only see her out without them, but she has even said she stays in when she has the kids so the paparazzi don't hound them! Grow up you immature little kids!

Thanks No.18,only a 1000 aye! Well im sorry she doesnt actually deserve it this year does she! She has hardly seen her kids and has had nannies looking after them when Pete isnt!!! She stops her kids speaking or seeing their father so she hasnt exactly got the kids best interests at heart has she!! She moved Alex in so quick and didnt once think about the kids feelings especially so soon after the split! So no i dont think she should come anywhere close to getting this award!!!!
