Viewing Figures For Peter Andre’s TV Show Drop Below The 1 Million Mark....

Hundreds of screaming and excitable teenage girls queued up outside Selfridges in London earlier today to catch a glimpse of Peter Andre who was at the department store to launch his new fragrance Unconditional - which is aimed at women.

Meanwhile though, viewing figures have revealed that Pete is losing the battle of the ratings war to his ex-wife Katie Price.

Last night viewing figures for the singer’s reality series Peter Andre: The Next Chapter dropped to below the 1 million mark for the first time since it began.

The show originally attracted a respectable audience of around 1.44m when it started, but since then it’s lost around 200,000 viewers week on week.

Katie’s reality show on the other hand has been attracting a steady audience of about 1.7m people. Which of the two shows have you been watching?

I love pete. But I'm thinking the Katie Piper programme (MY BEAUTIFUL FACE) on Channel 4, which was on at the same time, took away a few regular viewers... but I tuned in an hour later on itv2+1 :)

The reason the viewing figures have dropped off is because he's not getting the coverage and advertising that she demands all the time. She won't drop one without ringing up the paps and getting them to relay it all to us! Peter, on the other hand, is a different breed entirely - Team ANDRE!

I totally agree with most of the comments here sayin Peter smothers his children, has them on TV 80% of the time, says he loves them every second!!!!( that shows he is puttin it on), he plays up to the camera, he is a knob and oh yeah... Your ratings figures are utter nonsense Mr Pap. Peter's series of shows has achieved much higher ratings than Jordan's - 1.77 million to her 1.58 million tops. Also hers dropped to 1.05million by the last programme - so there's little difference in their lowest ratings. He was the top rating show on the digital channels at 9pm last night, and beat BBC2 and Channel 5 at that hour too. Brilliant figures for Pete. He was also excellent hosting This Morning, this morning! Not to mention the mayhem at his perfume launch. Well done Pete. Who's the star now Jordan?!

Am not surprised, I've given up on it too - Pete's a lovely guy but so boring and definitely not enough interest for a reality show- he never does anything. When he does arrive anywhere, the paps are always there first, which lets you know that they are tipped off before he arrives anywhere to try and generate false interest. Suggest he practices his music more and sticks to one thing, otherwise he will lose it all...

Comment 17: Katies show was also the most wathced multi-channel EVERY WEEK her show was on. Katies show finished on 1.05 million after 6 weeks. Peters show is on 960,000 after 4 shows; they've been going to each week..... Peter Andre is the biggest BORE ever!!

Why do people think its odd that a woman is upset and having a hard time over the fact her husband left her? Is it not normal to be affected by it? Peter Andre is so fake, he goes on about himself constantly, he is so in love with himself! In his show one week he and his manager were discussing the fact that he was on the front of a magazine and someone said that 'Peter can be on the front of a magazine without Katie' but no body seems to understand that he might be able to be on the front of a magazine without Katie but he is only on there because of her! He is a very controlling man who used to enjoy controlling and belittling Katie all the time. He is a total idiot, he keeps sueing everyone, he even threatened to sue her, for gods sake. He also says that the kids are the most important thing to him, but he quite happily sang a song about Katie, slagging her off to the nation, that I must say is very tactful and I am sure the kids would not be at all upset by that. Even his unconditional song is full of bollocks, he says in it how can a man leave the mother of his children to raise their kids alone.... slagging off Dwight Yorke... I do agree DY is an idiot but he himself has also left the mother of his children to raise his kids alone! Peter Andre was a joke in this country before he met Katie and I still think he is! He is using the kids to win the popularity he craves, Katie is the star here and she will continue to be! Peter Andre needs to take his greasy, self loving twattishness back to the rock he slimed out from!

You are wrong, I watch Katie's show because I like her, she is a strong, clever career woman. She is not using the kids to try to win a pathetic war which Peter seems to be trying to keep going. He keeps on saying he is not gonna tell us the reason they split, but he keeps on saying it, it is like he wants the papers to try to find out, he is the subject in front of the papers like a red rag to a bull! At the end of the day he was a joke in the UK before he met Katie and he is starting to show is true colours now, he is a control freak in love with himself, he sets up paparazzi shots with his kids and his album is total shit! I just wish he would bugger off back home! Katie is honest, hard working and a wonderful mother, she does not bang on about Harvey illness, she just gets on with looking after him, whereas Peter abandones him and writes songs about him, which is basically a big pat on his own back for taking on a disable child of someone elses! Harvey is a credit to Katie and not Peter, she managed very well before his slimed in and she will continue to give her all, in order that her children have all they need in life. Peter go back to your pathetic gym or whatever your shit existence was before you met Katie, the real star!
