Apparently the chatshow host spent literally thousands of pounds turning his Hampstead home into a house of horrors – but boy did it pay off.

Outside his pad dwarves and a giant devil greeted guests at the party including Jimmy Carr, Allan Carr (in the Thriller werewolf outfit), David Walliams, Claudia Winkleman, Sam Taylor Wood, David Baddiel, David Mitchell, Javis Cocker and Jack Dee to name but a few.

Meanwhile, we stayed at home and did nothing last night *sighs*. Our invite must have got lost in the post or something, it’s the only logical explanation. Or so we keep telling ourselves…
