Beyonce was the real big winner last night at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which were held in Berlin. The Crazy In Love singer took home not one, not two, but three awards for the Best Song, Best Female and Best Video.

But the real star of the show was host Katy Perry who wowed the crowd in various outfits including a specially made West Ham football club basque, which went down particularly well with her boyfriend Russell Brand who tweeted:

“Wow. Now MY GIRLFRIEND has worn a West Ham basque while hosting the EMA's. What a day! I might revive Gandhi and ask if he wants to be mates.”

A short while later he added:

“Yes I will be taking her to a game - West Ham Vs Everton. And, before it begins, no I won't be taking her up the Arsenal.x”
