As she continued rehearsals for her upcoming Australian tour, in which she’ll be performing in 15-sell out shows across the county, we caught up with Britney Spears earlier today as popped out for a quick coffee in Perth.

But despite the fact that her Circus tour hasn’t even kicked off yet Down Under, it seems as though some Australians have already began grumbling at the prospect of seeing Britney mime for over an hour after shelling out hundreds of dollars for tickets to see her show.

In fact some Aussies have got so stirred about Britney’s lip-syncing that the Australian government are now considering enforcing new laws which will ensure that artists notify their fans, on tickets and in adverts, if they’re going to mime. In an interview Virginia Judge, Fair Trading minister in Oz, said:

"Sydneysiders would not tolerate a Mickey Mouse performance... let's be clear, live means live - if you are spending up to 200 Australian dollars, I think you deserve better than a film clip."

Yeah, but you get to see Britney! Surely that sight alone is worth the money alone? What do you mean ‘no it is isn’t’?
