Rihanna Scoops One Of Glamour Magazine’s Women Of The Year Awards…

Following a difficult year, Rihanna was named one of Glamour magazine’s Women of The Year during a star-studded ceremony in New York last night.

The singer was handed the award by Glamour in recognition of her career, her fashion sense, her charity work and her bravery following her assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown earlier this year.

As she collected her gong the emotional songstress began crying, before apologising and explaining:

“Sorry, I'm PMS-ing.”

Elsewhere at the ceremony we spotted Stella McCartney (who was honoured for fashion and environmental efforts), Estelle, Serena Williams (who collected a prize for her charity work), Iman, and Steve Tyler.
