Good news ladies, Jake has confirmed that he and girlfriend Reese Witherspoon are no longer an item. While speaking on Jonathan Ross's chat show Jake said:

‘At this point yes, on behalf of the ladies I’m single.’

The Brokeback Mountain star then added, to the disappointment of the house band, Four Poofs And A Piano:

‘On behalf of the band, I’m not.’
