Remember what we told you earlier about Robbie Williams proposing to his longterm girlfriend Ayda Field on an Australian radio station yesterday? Well you can completely disregard it.

A spokesman for the singer has denied that Robbie is now engaged and insists that his recent proposal was just a joke:

"He did say it, but he did it in a jocular manner. They are not engaged."

Well that's not funny is it?! Booo, hisssssss......
