The former model will now film the last episode of It's On with Alexa this Thursday – after which she plans to spend more time with her boyfriend Alex Turner. A source close to Alexa said:
"She is absolutely exhausted. She's been working 16-hour days on four live shows a week.
"She didn't want to do that any more. It's been absolutely gruelling and she hasn't had time to explore New York."
However the presenter won’t be returning to Blighty just yet; she now plans to split her time between the UK and the US, where Alex now lives. The source explained:
"Alexa's a big deal in America. She's had big acting, presenting and modelling offers. She's also very much in love with Alex and wants to spend time with him.”
Meanwhile Chung’s spokesperson has dismissed claims that the star is suffering from Anorexia. In a statement her spokeswoman said:
"It's just the shape of her body. Some people are born with a body that's small and slender - there's nothing she can do to make it any other shape."
