Gossip Girl star Blake Lively spiced up what would have been an otherwise dull premiere of Sherlock Holmes in New York last night by strolling down the red-carpet in a flimsy black lace strapless dress.

Elsewhere at yesterday’s screening we also caught up with Eva Mendes, the film’s stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr, and it’s director Guy Ritchie who decided to bring his son Rocco with him for the red-carpet event.
