Even though he was said to be “gutted” X Factor winner Joe McElderry didn’t reach the number one spot yesterday, Simon Cowell found that he quickly got over the stress of defeat by going jet skiing in Barbados earlier today, right in front of his luxury house on the Caribbean island.

It’s a tough life isn’t it? Meanwhile Piers Morgan has laughed off Simon Cowell’s defeat yesterday, saying:

“I thought it was quite funny and the fact that Simon got wound up was even funnier.

"Anything that winds up Simon Cowell is good in my book. He appreciates it when someone outwits him - it doesn't happen very often."

Piers also said the nation should celebrate Simon’s defeat, adding: "It will really annoy him."

Well you heard the man; crack open the champers! We’ve already taken a healthy glug from ours (straight from the bottle, in case you were wondering. Don’t judge us, it’s Christmas)…

I would like to be like simon cowell but I can't get into the music business, it is very hard to get into the music business these days because now you need G.C.S.E's all the time for everything and I think that I will be very good at working in the music as well

i think its pretty stupid jelous peoplee launched this. YES simon makes money YES he makes all of us overwhelingly jelous but the charts are about MUSIC not about kicking joe off no.1 just cos he's good ! its simons job to make money and why cant people except that ? and if you were going to do it then why not do a GOOD song ? in MY charts joe is number one as far as MUSIC is concerned your not music lovers if you do this just cos simon makes money Joe (L) loveee youuuu Katiee x
