This time last year Alexandra Burke was celebrating her X Factor win with a relaxing break in the Caribbean with her pal Ruth Lorenzo (what ever happened to her?) and despite the fact her first single had shot straight to number one she was still facing the usual ‘she’s going to be a nobody this time next year’ criticism.

Well it looks like she’s proved everybody wrong eh! When we caught up with the Bad Boys singer she was well and truly living it up and celebrating her massively successful year.

Number one single? Check! Number one album? Check! A Brit and Mobo award nomination? Check! Check!

Yes, we think it’s fair to say Alex was having a whale of a time fooling around with a group of lads as she strutted her stuff in a skimpy bikini whilst soaking up the winter sun.
