Hannah – who was in high spirits when we spotted her leaving the Noel Coward Theatre, following a performance of Calendar Girls – agreed to spend New Years Eve with her hubby despite telling him on Christmas Day that she didn’t love him anymore.
During the evening Ricky went over to talk to his wife, who had been acting strangely and he simply asked her, ‘Is there some else?’ He told the News of the World:
“I knew from her body language, the way she stiffened, that I didn't need to hear her answer.
“Then she looked up at me for a couple of seconds, straight in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I have. I'm so, so sorry.'”
The heartbroken Strictly Come Dancing star blames Hannah’s ‘get slim crusade’ and says it ‘changed her mentally and destroyed our marriage.’
But despite everything he’s still trying to remain positive:
“At least she told me before 2010. She gave me two s*** hours of 2009 and then it was a new year, a new start.”
Well that’s one way of looking at it.
