The Wolverine star - who is rumoured to have struck a multi-million pound deal with the drinks company - might seem like a slightly random choice, but Lipton Ice Tea’s European marketing director begs to differ:

Funny that because we spotted them shooting the first commercial on Grumari beach in Rio De Janeiro the other day, when Hugh wasn’t busy snogging his co-star while his wife watched on (weird!) he spent most of the day splashing around in the sea.
Not much dancing and singing going on there, still it’s nice work if you can get it eh!

Not weird at all - Deborra-Lee and Hugh, both actors, have always said they want their kids to see all aspects of acting so they understand the difference between real life and make-believe - plus Hugh has said that among the first things he does when he begins a movie is to invite his female co-star to dinner with his wife - he says they usually end up liking Deborra-lee more than him - seems like a great way to keep a good marriage going in our celebrity crazed world
Don't be so critical. He is a terrific guy and family man. He is my favorite actor. Met him and loved him. I'd splash around in the ocean too if I just came from New York where it was freezing cold and very snowy.
