The Bleeding Love singer was on route to LAX when she stopped at Starbucks to grab a quick coffee.

Before she got out the car, two men appeared and ran past wielding guns. Luckily several police cars arrived at the scene and arrested the men, but in all the commotion Leona’s manager Nicola was pushed to the floor.

Speaking after the incident the X Factor winner said:

“It was really frightening, one minute we were stopping for drinks, the next there was police and guns everywhere.

“It came completely out of the blue and was absolutely terrifying. I really thought the guys might start shooting. I was shaking like a leaf afterwards.”

Thankfully, Leona’s security was stepped up after the recent book signing attack and it was one of the guys on her security team that tackled one of the gunmen to the floor.
