Simon Cowell Bans Alexandra Burke From Getting Puppies…

Alexandra Burke has a bone to pick with Simon Cowell after the dogmatic X Factor judge banned her from getting a puppy. Cue a string of inevitable dog related puns.

The singer – who we spotted outside Movida last night – got all hot under the collar (geddit?) recently after the media mogul told her she was paw-sitively too busy to get a dog. She said:

"I really want a dog this year. Simon's said I can't have one as I'm too busy."

So instead, Alex has reportedly found another venture to fill up her time, she’s buying two ~~dog~~ houses:

"I'm going to buy my very first house soon. I'd love to live in a quiet area, but near enough to travel to London.

"Then the plan is to buy another home at the end of the year to move my family into. It's for my mum, sister and brother - that will be one house full of chaos!"

Aw, well that ought to give them a new leash of life won’t it! Sorry, that was the last pun we promise. Sometimes we just can’t help ourselves…
