Last August, Chanelle Hayes was rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected overdose. The Big Brother babe reportedly downed a cocktail of painkillers and red wine, after a row with her footballer boyfriend Matthew Bates turned nasty.

Five months have passed since then and the couple have clearly put their troubles behind them as Chanelle is said to be “delighted” that she’s now expecting Matt’s baby.

A close pal revealed, “The dark days are behind them and Chanelle is absolutely thrilled. Matthew’s over the moon too.”

The baby is due in July.

congrats to chanelle but her x bf is a t++ser cannot belive he left her when she told him she was expecting i hope her family will help her out once shes given birth becuse it is going to be very diffult to cope with as a single mum some can mangage alone but not everyone and leave her alone
