Bob Lido was born as Robert Freda on the 21st of September, 1914 in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States of America. His father’s name was Agostino. His mother’s name was Mitchelina. Bob started playing violin when he was very young. He also took lessons to polish his skills and voice. Bob Lido began his music career as a vocalist in the Carmen Cavallaro’s band known as Carmen Cavallaro and His Orchestra. Carmen Cavallaro himself was a pianist.
