Bretman Rock Sacayanan Laforga was born on July 31, 1998, in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, Philippines. He is of Filipino descent. His mother is Mercedita who is an OFW and his father is Edmund Laforga.
His late father Edmund was a huge fan of wrestling that’s why he named Bretman from Bret Hart and The Rock. At such a young age of seven, Bretman moved to Hawaii where his mother was working as an OFW.
In Hawaii, he studied at Campbell High School, and he played baseball, soccer, and volleyball. Bretman was also on the track team. According to Bretman, he had a rough childhood and he was bullied at school for his gay behavior.
