Hina Khan was born on the 2nd of October 1987 to her mother and Aslam Khan in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. She was raised alongside her younger brother Aamir Khan. After completing her higher secondary education, she enrolled in a tertiary learning institution. Hina later joined the CCA School of Management and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Hina first hit the entertainment scene when she auditioned for the singing reality show Indian Idol in 2008. She finished as part of the top 30 contestants that year. Seeing how she was a natural act in her previous TV appearance, her friends implored her to audition for the Indian TV series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’ Fortunately, Hina was selected as part of the cast and she made the move to Mumbai to make her debut in 2009.
