Michael Edward Knight was born in Princeton, New Jersey on May 7, 1959, and he was raised by his parents in a small town where he attended The Thacher School. After his high school graduation, he enrolled in Wesleyan University and got his diploma in 1980.
As a child, Michael always wanted to act and perform in school plays. After college, he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Michael E. Knight’s first appeared in the tv series All My Children from 1982 – to 1986. He also played the role of Ted Orsini on AMC for one year.
He left All My Children because he wanted to focus on acting on the West Coast. He starred in the film Date with an Angel and he also appeared in other tv dramas like Dear John.
