On October 21, 1959, Paul Campbell was born in Kingston 13 Maxfield Avenue, Jamaica. He received his early education from Saint Michael’s primary school.
Paul Campbell continued his higher education at Kington’s college Jamaica, where he began doing Drama and theatre and acted in a Shakespearean play. “Johnny Reggae” was his first drama in the National pantomime where he introduced himself as an actor.
The town where Campbell lived is a Ghetto, where life was full of depression. His mother was always his inspiration who helped him fight depression. She always encouraged him and asked him to explore the world. As he is very lively and wanted to get rid of the depressing environment of his town, he started learning visual art from his teacher Sir Alexander Cooper in Kingston College.
