Pnb Rock came into this world on December 9 in the year, 1991. He lived through the murder of his father when Rock was only three years old. Hence, his mother brought him up. He lived in North Philadelphia, where he used to commit small robberies and fight in school. Thirteen-year-old Pnb Rock was sent to a detention center to pay for his crimes.
He started taking drugs when turned 18 and committed many other crimes. Then, was caught when he was 19 and was imprisoned for around 33 months. Pnb grew up listening to rapper Tupac, commonly known as 2Pac, and other influential artists. Because of his legal troubles and trials, he was dropped out of school, which means he never completed his formal education and lived homeless for some time after his release from prison.
Pnb Rock started his professional career in 2014 with his first mixtape, ‘Real N*gga Bangaz’ or commonly known as RNB. Then he released RNB2 in the same year, but it didn’t get much hype. He also released his first album, ‘Catch These Vibes,’ which peaked at number 6 in US Rap charts, number 7 in US R&B/Hip-Hop chart, and number 17 on Billboard 200. He was featured in the XXL magazine segment of ‘ 2017 Freshman Class’. In 2018, he released his two songs, ‘ABCD’ and ‘Nowadays.’
After that, he was featured in the song ‘Smash’ by XXXTentacion and ‘Jump Out That’ by Skinnyfromthe9. He released his second album, ‘Trapstart Turnt Popstar’ in 2019, which peaked at number 4 in Billboard 200. He also appeared in Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Cross Me’ in the same year.
