Tatiana was born on December 12, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while her father was studying at the University of Pennsylvania.
She was then raised by her parents in Monterrey, Mexico after his father’s graduation. Her father is Dr. José Ramón Palacios Ortega and her mother is Diana Perla Chapa de Palacios. Her parents were both Mexican immigrants who had come to the United States in search of better opportunities.
Tatiana has two older sisters and one younger brother. Growing up, she was very close to her family and spent a lot of time with her cousins. Tatiana’s parents placed great importance on education, and she did well in school.
In 1984, Tatiana had her first major musical where she performed as Jane in the Mexican rock opera about Tarzan.
From 1984 to 1994, Tatiana made 10 music albums which collected numerous top 1 hits, 15 golds, and 4 platinums throughout Latin America.
