Zachary Stephen Williams, also known as Zach Williams, was born in Pensacola, Florida, the United States on the 5th of March, 1981.

He was in sports in his high school, particularly in basketball. But he didn’t even play his first game as his ankle got busted one night. He wasn’t allowed to play in the whole season because of this injury. At this time, he adopted an interest in music. He belongs to a Christian ethnicity. He has an American nationality.

Career Highlights

His career began as a lead singer in the band Zach Williams and The Reformation. This was a rock band formed in Jonesboro, Arkansas by the year 2007. The group members included Red Dorton, Zach Williams, Robby Rigsbee, Josh Copeland, and Evan Wilons. Two albums were independently released by this band named Electric Revival in 2009 and A Southern Offering in 2011. Later, for some reason, Williams disbanded the reformation in 2012.

After four years of disbandment, Zach signed a contract with Provident Label Group – Essential Record, working as a solo artist. He released his debut single in 2016, named Chain Breaker. This song went viral and reached No.1 on the Hot Christian Songs Chart.

It’s been reported that due to taking an excessive amount of drugs, he got cancer but it was in its earlier stages. He was told by a doctor that if he won’t be able to overcome his addiction, he would lose his life soon. After this, he has never gone back to drugs again and he changed his habits.
