Katherine Ann Moss was born on the 16th of January, 1974 in Croydon, Greater London to Peter Edward Moss and Linda Rosina Moss. Moss was raised alongside her younger brother Nick in Purley. Unfortunately, by the time Moss was 13, her parents decided to end their marriage. For her studies, Kate attended Ridgeway Primary School and later joined Riddlesdown High School.
