Ryan Garcia was born in Los Alamitos, California on August 08, 1998. His father is Henry Garcia and his mother is Lisa Garcia. Ryan has three sisters Kayla Garcia, Dami Garcia, and Sasha Garcia, and one brother Sean Garcia who is also a professional boxer.

His father Henry Garcia, is a former boxer who fought under the name. Henry instilled a love of boxing in his son at a young age and Ryan began training when he was just seven years old.

As a child, Ryan was a gifted athlete and played both football and basketball in addition to boxing. He was even offered a scholarship to play football but he declined in order to pursue his dream of becoming a professional boxer.
