If you missed this morning’s GMTV, then unfortunately you missed one of the funniest things we’ve heard in a long time. Hollywood star Salma Hayek appeared on the daytime programme to talk about her campaign with UNICEF to eradicate tetanus around the world.

During the show Salma revealed to host Eamonn Holmes that she was half Lebanese. Eamonn, who was having trouble understanding her accent, suddenly said "You're a lesbian?"

Salma laughed it off and slowly repeated that she was “LEBANESE”. Eamonn ended things by saying, "Oh sorry, I thought you were half lesbian. Forgive me." Television gold…
