~~Harry Potter~~ Alexa Chung had a big smile on her chops when she jetted back to the UK this weekend with her boyfriend Alex Turner in tow.

The presenter has returned to the UK for the Christmas period having finished filming her now cancelled MTV show in the US last week. On her last day in the job Alexa told her fans on Twitter:

“Today was our last ever show. Thanks so much to everyone who watched, for those of you who didn't - you missed out. Xx”

We’ll take your word for it Alexa! The former model is now said to be still under contract with MTV until the spring, but apparently she’s had "numerous offers" of work in New York.

I hate it when celebrities say that they have lost weight because they've been working so hard. An average person works A 40 hour week & manageS to eat three meals a day so why can't they? Alexa only worked for a couple of hours a day on her chat show if that. And the show was crap just like everything else she has done. She must have the record for the number of programmes any individual has had cancelled. I don't think that she is half as talented as she likes to think she is.

I love him but her I could do without. They do look happy though. Her legs are like twigs!! She's hardly the only person that works long hours and I doubt that's the only reason she's so thin!

i love both of them :) and alexa has always been quite skinny, shes just got a bit skinnier! its not like shes lost 5 stone....
