Chris Amoo was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom on the 14th of October, 1952. His birth name is Christopher Charles Amoo.

His parents’ names are Bomi Bulsara (1908–2003) and Jer Bulsara (1922–2016).

Chris Amoo released his first solo “This Must Be Love”/ “You’ll Never Know What You’re Missing” in 1981 on the Precision Record Label. He wrote the song “You’ll Never Know What You’re Missing” with his brother and it remained at number 23 on the Billboard Charts.“He released another solo “No Choir Of Angels” on EMI with Debby Bishop in 1984. It was backed with the “Love Talk”.

The songs he sang for his group “The Real Thing” also became massive hits. Those hits include “You To Me Are Everything”.
