Gary Barlow was born to Colin and Marjorie Barlow on January 20, 1971, in Frodsham, Cheshire, England. He got his education from Weaver Wave Primary School and Frodsham High School. As a child, he was passionate about music and dancing and describes asking for a keyboard for Christmas. At the age of 15, he took a part in BBC’s Pebble Mill at One Christmas singing competition and reached the semi-finals. He went on to perform at pubs and bars before being selected as the lead singer of “Take That.”
