List was born and raised in Florida USA. She has a twin named Spencer and s younger brother named Phoenix. Both her siblings are actors. She received her elementary education at The Carroll School before joining the middle school at the New Voices School for Academic and Creative Arts. List went on to join Oak Park High School in California.
List began working as a model in 2009 when she got her first cover feature in the teen magazine American Girl ‘Back to School’ edition. As a child model, she appeared in at least 400 ads for different companies. List was offered a contract to model for Justice Magazine in 2011.
