Surya was born to an Indian actor Sivakumar on the 23rd of July 1975. His birthplace is Chennai, India. Surya’s mother’s name is Lakshmi.
Surya went to the St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School for his early education. He then went to Loyola College (Chennai) for further studies. He graduated in the field of Commerce.
