Despite his incredible talent, Cook envisioned himself joining the Navy after high school and then returning home to work a nine-to-five job like his father. When he voiced these thoughts to the founder of Muse Machine,he immediately introduced Cook to the principal at Mountain View Theatre School in London where he was asked to audition for a chance at the institution. Cook had a hard time juggling his numerous responsibilities as he struggled when it came to finding care for his children. Cook credits his family and friends who assisted him during his turbulent start as he admits he would never have made it alone.
