Lanita Rose Agrati, popularly known as Lani O’Grady was born in Walnut Creek, California, the USA on October 2, 1954. Her mother was a talent agent named Mary Grady. She was the younger sister of the famous actor and musician Don Grady. We don’t have any information about her academic background as she has never talked about it when she was alive.

Her career began at the age of 13 with the television serial The High Chaparral in 1969. She had appeared in many television serials including Headmaster (1970), The Delphi Bureau (1973), Harry O (1975), Eight Is Enough (1977-1981), The Love Boat (1979-1980), Quincy M.E. (1982), Days of our Lives (1990), and a few more.

The reasons behind her failed marriages are still unknown.

She told in her interviews that she had been suffering from severe panic attacks since the age of 18. She had to take prescribed drugs but later she also started taking alcohol. She added that sometimes she would shake so badly that she couldn’t go for a shoot. Due to her condition, she had to take a lot of medicines including Xanax, Valium, and Librium. She got an addiction to the pills and went to rehab at least five times. She also got admitted to the mental health ward of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for detox in 1998.

She died at the age of 46 on September 25, 2001, in Valencia, California, USA. It was reported that she was at her home during the time of her death. The reason behind her death was multiple drug intoxication in her body.
