Lynn Hamilton opened her eyes on the 25th of April, 1930 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Her father’s name is Louis Hamilton. Her mother’s name is Nancy Hamilton. Her parents shifted to Chicago when she was twelve years of age.

Her elder brother’s name is Edward Johnson. Their mother was a homemaker and looked after her children alone. Lynn went to Bloom High School for her formal education. She attended Goodman Theatre to study acting.
