The Indian actor Rajkummar Rao or Rajkumar Yadav was born on August 31, 1984, in Gurugram, India. His father is Satya Prakash Yadav who worked in the government and his mother is Kamlesh Yadav.
He finished his 12th grade at S.N. Sidheshwar Senior. Sec Public School where he was first exposed to acting and joined school plays. He then enrolled at The Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College Delhi or Delhi University where he also participated in theatre with Kshitij Theatre Group and the Shri Ram Centre in Delhi.
According to Rajkummar, he decided to enter the entertainment industry as an actor after he saw Manoj Bajpayee being “highly influenced” by his performance.
