Trudeau was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia to Jimmy Sinclair and Doris (Bernard) Sinclair. Her father was once a member of parliament in Canada and Monster of Fisheries. The Trudeaus moved from North Vancouver to Ontario when her father joined parliament, though they returned to Vancouver at some point after he finished his term in office. Trudeau attended Rockliffe Park Public School and later Delbrook Senior Secondary School.
